Additional factors that can lead to data transmission errors include:
• Incorrect Date & Time settings on the iPad
If the iPad’s date and time are not set automatically, it may generate records with incorrect timestamps (e.g., future times), which can be rejected by PCC EHR.
Solution:
Go to iPad Settings → Date & Time and enable Set Automatically.
• Duplicate data entries
If the same vital sign parameter (e.g., temperature) is recorded twice at the exact same time—often due to accidentally tapping the Measure button twice—PCC EHR may reject the duplicate entry.
Solution:
Avoid double-tapping during measurement to prevent duplicate records.
