2.0 | What are other causes that may interrupt data transmission to PCC EHR
Additional factors that can lead to data transmission errors include:
• Incorrect Date & Time settings on the iPad
If the iPad’s date and time are not set automatically, it may generate records with incorrect timestamps (e.g., future times), which can be rejected by PCC EHR.
Solution:
Go to iPad Settings → Date & Time and enable Set Automatically.
Automatic time synchronization requires access to time.apple.com. If your organization uses a network allowlist, ask your IT department to confirm that access to this domain is permitted. See more in:

• Duplicate data entries
If the same vital sign parameter (e.g., temperature) is recorded twice at the exact same time—often due to accidentally tapping the Measure button twice—PCC EHR may reject the duplicate entry.
Solution:
Avoid double-tapping during measurement to prevent duplicate records.
