2.0 | Why is vital sign data not syncing to PCC EHR?

If vital sign data is not syncing, first check the Record page in the app to view the specific upload status or error message. Common causes include:

(1) The user is not logged in with a PCC account
If measurements are taken using a Jubo account instead of a PCC account, the data will not sync.

Solution:

Sign in using a valid PCC account.

 

(2) The user’s upload setting is configured for manual upload
Even when using a PCC account, syncing will not occur automatically if the upload setting is set to Manual Upload in theVitalLinkWeb Portal.

Solution:

An admin user should go to the VitalLink Web Portal, open the user’s profile, and enable Auto Upload in ‘Upload to PointClickCare’ section.

 

(3) The user does not have sufficient permissions in PCC EHR
Data syncing may fail if the user’s role in PCC EHR does not allow writing vital sign data.

Solution:

A PCC admin user should

  • Go to PCC EHR → Admin → Setup → Security Roles

  • Review the user’s role profile

  • Ensure the role has at least Read / Add permissions for the Weights and Vitals module
