Setting up protocols

  1. Click on Protocol Settings in the left sidebar menu. All available protocols will be

  2. Click WEB - user setting sort by activation_button button to create new protocols.
  3. Enter protocol name.
  4. Select Send Report to EHR option:
    No Report
    Every Reminder Report (Accumulated)
    Every Reminder Report + Final Summary Report
  5. Select applicable measurement(s) from the dropdown menu.Protocols-with-Non-vitals_WEB_3
  6. Enter the frequency.
  • Minute(s)
  • Hour(s)
    WEB - protocol hours
  • Day(s)
    Select the Measure TimeWEB - protocol days
  • Week(s)
    Select the Day(s) to run the protocol
    Select the Measure TimeWEB - protocol weeks

  • Months
    Select the Number of measurements
    Limit task date

   6.   Select Never to continuously run the protocol or Set Duration.

   7.   Select applicable Assessment from the dropdown menu.

   8.   Click Save.

To add a second reminder, click + ADD REMINDER and repeat steps 2-6.

Protocols can be set facility-wide from the VitalLink Web Portal and assigned on an

individual basis from the VitalLink App. Find out how to assign them here.
